Truths about me
My name is WANG Cong and written
as "
" in
Chinese. Note that "Wang" is my family name, and "Cong" is my given name, because we Chinese people
always put our family name first (Note note, "Cong" is _not_ pronounced as /kong/, its pronunciation is
somewhat between /song/ and /zong/, it's specific in Chinese and difficult for most western people).
As my name tells you, I am from China, which is a knownly large country and has a five-thousand-year-long
history. I, of course, love China and I am proud of our culture very much.
I got my bachelor degree from the CS Department of Xi'an Institute of Post and
Telecommunications in July 2008. But now, I am living in Coimbra of Portugal, because
I am working here for Critical Links which is a very nice company.
I am very happy in Portugal, because it is very beautiful and Portuguese people are very kind.
I am a programmer of
Linux and also a fan of free software. I like writing clever programs
for fun and enjoy hacking very much. I am a C
language lawyer, that is to say, I like C language very much.
But I can also program in Bash, Perl, Python, C++, Ruby, Tcl, Java, x86 assembly etc..
I want to become a hacker like
Richard Stallman, who doesn't work for money. :-) Now I am
also a member of zeuux community which
is an organization whose goal is to spread free software.
Besides playing with computers, maths, music, science
fictions, skating, bikes and travelling are also my favourites.
